It’s all about insulin.

Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas.  It regulates our blood sugar levels and fat metabolism.  A more scientific name for blood sugar is “glucose”.  Every time you eat, insulin is released to help your body use or store the glucose it gets from the meal you have just eaten.
